Born in Mumbai, Honey Irani s date of birth is 25 th Aug, 1955 in a Zoroastrian family and her parents are Noshir and Perin Irani. She marreid Javed Akhtar and has two star children. She started her career as child artist in Chirag Kahan Roshni Kahan and Bombay Ka Chor. But she was spotted by the audience from her screenwriting debute Lamhe (which won Filmfare, best story) in 1992. Other blockbusters screenwritings includes Krish series, Kaho Naa Pyar Hai (won Filmfare for best screenwriter), DDLJ etc. she acted for than 72 films till now. Her one and only directorial debut was Armaan in 2003.
